Last modified: 21.02.2018 08:48 GMT

Wednesday the 21st of February

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to severe weather in Keflavik (KEF) Icelandair flights out of Keflavik this morning are in delay.
We are also expecting delays in our flights from Europe to Keflavik and Keflavik to USA/Canada this afternoon (21st of February 2018).

We will continue to monitor the weather and update this page as soon as new information becomes available.

Information for Passengers:

Passengers on connecting flights that hold one ticket/one ticket number:
If you have booked your flight/flights with Icelandair and all are in the same ticket, Icelandair will rebook you at no cost on the first available flight/date, to the original destination  your ticket. Icelandair will rebook all affected passengers and will send all passengers an sms/email found in your original booking with the new itinerary.

Passengers on connecting flights that hold two or more separate tickets/booking numbers:
We are unfortunately not able to help with the onward flight since Icelandair´s liability does not cover separate ticket//booking flight connection/s. Passengers will have to contact the airline/travel agency directly for changes that need to be made. Same applies for connections to trains, ferries, buses and taxes.

Compensation:
In case of weather (force majeure), Passengers are not entitled to compensations but we will offer our passengers full refund on their tickets if they choose not to travel or we can assist with rebooking on another Icelandair flight at a later date without any change fees.
